Always the first
weekend in August, Back To The Past
is a two-day celebration of turn-of-the-century mill and
homestead activities at Scribner's Mill. Exhibits include
sawmill demonstrations, tours, craftsmen at work, antique
cars, trucks, engines, homestead activities, children's
events, a pig roast and baked bean "suppah" and much more.
We are always looking for volunteers to work at this event;

this year, eight teams of oxen from southern Maine
demonstrating individual team and cooperative pulling
skills.
Except where noted all
activities are on-going from 10:00 to 4:00 both Saturday and
Sunday.
